Why St. Joe’s TY Residency?
Robust community hospital experience, allows you to care for a diverse patient population in the ED, ICU, and beyond. I've felt supported in increasing my autonomy over patient care which has made the transition from medical student to physician easier.
My co-interns are some of the best people I know. This program has attracted a group of people who are looking to build strong friendships and foster a good work-life balance. Ask us about our game nights!
Attendings, senior residents, and hospital staff have been absolutely amazing; from ICU nurses always feeding you coffee/snacks to ED attendings playing the Barbie soundtrack to get you through a night shift.
TY/EM bootcamp was the perfect way to start residency, lots of didactics and simulations to freshen your clinical memory, and ED shifts force you to be an actual doctor for the first time.
Scheduling rotations is flexible, and program leadership will work with you to optimize your schedule.
